Position Overview

Visier is seeking a Product Marketing Director to join our 'Direct' business team. This is a pivotal role focused on accelerating revenue growth in strategic product areas by leading positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy. You will act as the voice of the buyer, influencing product direction and ensuring alignment across Product, Sales, and Marketing. This is a cross-functional, strategic role blending storytelling with commercial impact.

What You'll Do

  • Own Go-to-Market Strategy: Drive growth across net-new acquisition, expansion, and retention for key Visier solutions.
  • Develop Positioning & Messaging: Create and operationalize differentiated messaging that clearly articulates business value and provides a competitive edge.
  • Act as Voice of the Buyer: Distill customer insights and market signals into actionable guidance for product, sales, and marketing teams.
  • Lead Product Launches: Execute product and feature launches with measurable impact on awareness, pipeline, and adoption.
  • Enable Sales: Equip the sales team with compelling narratives, tools, and training to improve conversion, influence deal outcomes, and shorten sales cycles.
  • Partner with Marketing: Collaborate with marketing to fuel high-performing campaigns, aligning messaging and targeting across channels.
  • Measure & Optimize: Continuously refine GTM strategy using sales feedback, customer feedback, win/loss analysis, and usage trends.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, Sales, and Customer Success to ensure strategy alignment and unified execution.

  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in owning strategic product marketing initiatives that directly contributed to growth, customer adoption, or market expansion.
  • Business Value Articulation: Ability to translate complex technical capabilities into clear, compelling business value for senior buyers.
  • Commercial Acumen: Strong understanding of revenue impact, market opportunity, and buyer motivation.
  • Exceptional Communication: Superior communication and storytelling skills to simplify complexity and inspire action through well-crafted messaging.
  • Market Curiosity: Deep curiosity about the market, customers, and the product's role within the broader business ecosystem.
  • Navigating Ambiguity: Confidence in leading through uncertainty and charting a clear path forward.
  • Experience: 5-7+ years of experience in B2B SaaS product marketing.
  • Bonus Points: Domain knowledge/experience in HR tech, analytics, workforce planning, or adjacent fields.

Salary & Compensation

  • Base Pay Range (Canada): $153,000 - $193,000 / year + bonus
  • Compensation Determination: Offered compensation will be based on relevant qualifications, experience, knowledge, and skills.
  • Additional Compensation: Many positions are eligible for additional compensation types (e.g., commission plans, bonus), which the Talent Acquisition team will discuss during the interview process.
