Position Overview

Solace is a healthcare advocacy marketplace connecting patients and families to experts who help them understand and manage their personal health. As a Product Manager at Solace, you will be responsible for driving the day-to-day execution and performance of our product, shaping the future of healthcare experiences.

About the Role

As a Product Manager at Solace, you will develop and execute product initiatives that enhance customer perception, experience, and retention. This is an individual contributor role for a self-starter who is eager to work on a broad set of in-house initiatives and take on significant ownership. You will support engineering, design, and product management across Solace's products. This role is ideal for the ambitious, the curious, and those who embrace feedback. You will report directly to our co-founder and Chief Product Officer.

About Solace

Healthcare in the U.S. is fundamentally broken, with 88% of adults lacking the health literacy to navigate the system independently. Solace acts as an integral, personal support layer by connecting people with health advocates, providing support the health system often cannot. Using proprietary technology, Solace matches patients with experienced advocates, cutting through healthcare red tape to help individuals and families make informed decisions for better outcomes.

Solace is a Series A startup founded in 2022, backed by Inspired Capital, Craft Ventures, and Torch Capital. We operate as a lean, fully-remote U.S. team distributed across the country.

Responsibilities

  • Bring innovative product ideas to life.
  • Exhibit autonomy, taking full ownership and responsibility for every detail of your work.
  • Rapidly produce and launch concepts, embracing challenges.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with cross-functional and creative partners.
  • Define initiative-level roadmaps for supporting workstreams to ensure goals and deadlines are met.
  • Provide up-to-date visibility into current projects, ensuring the right stakeholders and team members are involved at the appropriate times.
  • Document decisions and action items, following up with owners on commitments.
  • Become a guardian of the Solace brand and user expectations, upholding standards and best practices across all touchpoints.

Requirements

  • A bias toward action and execution, with a strong drive for momentum and comfort with challenging timelines.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and a refined ability to manage controlled chaos.
  • Unfettered creativity.
  • Intuition for creating delightful, consumer-oriented experiences that acquire and retain customers.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across departments to bring marketing visions to life.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in consumer startups.
  • Applicants must be based in the United States.
