Candidates should possess over 15 years of experience in marketing operations, Martech, or related go-to-market functions, with a minimum of 7 years in a functional architect or senior business systems role. Expertise in marketing automation platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), Pardot, Marketo, or HubSpot is required, along with experience in lead lifecycle management, campaign execution, marketing performance reporting, and customer data management. A functional understanding of Salesforce CRM and go-to-market processes from lead to quote is also necessary.
The Functional Architect - Marketing Operations will shape and build the marketing business and technology ecosystem, defining business and system architecture capabilities. Responsibilities include unifying, activating, and analyzing customer data, integrating it with transactional tools and multiple data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks) and transactional sources (e.g., SFDC) to over 100 destinations. This involves leveraging an identity graph for identity resolution, supporting AI-based audience segmentation and real-time personalization with streaming data ingestion, and enabling Omni-Channel integrations with MAP platforms. The role also entails ensuring consistent messaging across various channels, aligning transaction systems with data warehouses and internal process controls, managing data flow visibility, and supporting consent-based marketing and suppression lists.
