Candidates should have 8+ years of pre-sales experience selling complex technical products or 10+ years of professional experience supporting technical products with customer facing experience. Prior experience with Twilio products and a background in healthcare, non-profit, public sector, or NGO segments is preferred.
The Principal Solutions Engineer will partner with Account Executives on pre-sales activities, including opportunity qualification, demonstrations, Proof-of-Concepts, RFPs, design documentation, and technical presentations. They will lead the technical and product sale, recommend best-practice solutions, and guide customers on using Twilio's APIs. The role involves establishing trust with customers by understanding their technical challenges and designing innovative solutions, building and presenting engaging product demonstrations, and contributing to the Solutions Engineering community through knowledge sharing and mentoring. The engineer will also take initiative to solve problems for both customers and the organization.
