Requirements

Candidates should have over 10 years of experience in Solution Engineering, preferably within SaaS and enterprise software. A strong understanding of ITSM/ESM domains, including familiarity with platforms like ServiceNow, Halo, or Jira, is required. Deep knowledge of APIs, webhooks, integrations, and infrastructure components is essential. The role also requires experience in coaching and mentoring peers, influencing C-level stakeholders, and a proven playbook for leveraging AI to present solutions and articulate value. Familiarity with LLMs and foundational AI principles is also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Principal Solutions Engineer will partner with enterprise customers to understand strategic business challenges and recommend solutions using the Freshworks platform. This includes leading discovery workshops, shaping customer requirements, and influencing deal strategy to achieve technical wins. Responsibilities also involve delivering compelling product demonstrations, collaborating with internal teams to design scalable solutions, and contributing to competitive strategies. The engineer will translate complex customer needs into clear solution architectures, including integrations and security, and champion technical excellence through presentations and customer engagements.
