Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree, though it is not strictly required, and should maintain all necessary licenses as required by the State Department of Insurance to provide service, consultation, and financial risk transfer solutions in states where the firm operates. A strong understanding of the insurance industry and underwriting criteria is also beneficial.
The Advisor, Employee Benefits will sell new and existing accounts, build and maintain client relationships, present proposals detailing coverages, communicate effectively with clients and partners, finalize sales, develop prospects through networking and referrals, develop information and recommendations for prospective accounts, maintain accuracy and timeliness in client interactions, and represent the firm positively within the community. The role also includes identifying opportunities for improvement, bringing issues to leadership, meeting monthly new business goals, and performing other functions as assigned.
