Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and have a minimum of 10 years of experience in network architecture, with at least 5 years in an enterprise environment. Strong experience with global network design, cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP), and security principles is required. Knowledge of routing protocols, switching technologies, load balancing, and wireless networking is essential, along with experience with network automation and orchestration tools.
The Principal Enterprise Network Architect will collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement a strategic roadmap for global network architecture, ensuring alignment with IT Operations and business objectives. They will create and maintain comprehensive network architecture documentation, monitor network infrastructure, identify performance bottlenecks, and recommend improvements. Furthermore, the role involves assessing new technologies, driving standardization and automation, and providing technical leadership to teams while ensuring cost-effective and secure network solutions are deployed.
