  • Advanced engineering, sales, educational, and technical proficiencies at the highest level among Clinical Specialists in the region
  • High degree of independence, with ability to exercise independent judgment in planning, organizing, and performing work
  • Thorough command of all EP products, related product and technical knowledge, trends, and players
  • Ability to build and sustain credible business relationships with customers and share product expertise
  • Experience providing 24-hour on-call support for complex field inquiries from physicians, health care professionals, patients, and field sales staff
  • Proven leadership/mentor status in the region, perceived as the most senior clinical interface between the medical community and business
  • Ability to identify, report, and advise on customer needs, product performance, and potential sales opportunities

Responsibilities

  • Provides advanced engineering, sales, educational, and technical support in response to complex field inquiries involving EP products
  • Identifies and uses the most effective, cost-efficient, and best business practices; evaluates their effectiveness
  • Monitors performance and reports status to manager
  • Acts as the most senior clinical interface between the medical community and business
  • Provides engineering, sales, education, and clinical support on a 24-hour, on-call basis
  • Develops, leads, and/or facilitates trainings and programs on EP products for healthcare professionals
  • Provides insight, guidance, and feedback to management on market feedback and next-generation products
  • Provides regional EP implant case coverage to defined accounts with higher-than-national-average EP share
  • Provides back-up support to EP Sales Representatives in sales support, regional training seminars, clinical studies/data collection, troubleshooting, and new product in-service training
  • Mentors and provides leadership to EP clinical support roles
  • Continuously develops engineering skills
