Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess an Associate's or Bachelor's degree and have 3-5 years of physician recruitment experience within a healthcare or insurance setting. Strong familiarity with provider networks and healthcare operations is preferred, along with a deep understanding of physician recruitment, medical specialties, and related terminology. Essential skills include negotiation, communication, critical thinking, time management, and organizational abilities, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer systems. A working knowledge of federal/state healthcare compliance standards is also required. Candidates must also supply and maintain reliable, high-speed internet for remote work.

Responsibilities

The Physician Recruiter is responsible for maintaining and expanding the physician panel by negotiating fees, onboarding new physicians based on client demand, and resolving open service requests promptly. This includes conducting outreach for refunds, managing existing physician records, researching new panel options, and leading contract renegotiations. The role also involves handling complex client requests, assisting physician reviewers, fulfilling high-priority open service requests, and collaborating with operations to ensure network alignment. Additionally, the recruiter will support other projects as assigned and stay current on industry trends and compliance requirements.
