Requirements

Candidates must possess a Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathy degree and be board-eligible or certified in Anesthesiology, Neurology, Rheumatology, Psychiatry, Physical Medicine, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Surgery or a related specialty. A minimum of 2 years of clinical development experience in an industry setting, including medical monitoring and regulatory submissions, is required. Experience in pain management or use disorder populations is preferred.

Responsibilities

The Clinical Research Physician will provide medical and scientific leadership for clinical trials, offering scientific expertise and consultative support to product teams and external partners. Responsibilities include medical monitoring for analgesic clinical trials, authoring regulatory documents, and serving as a scientific and medical resource for study teams. The role requires ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, GCPs, and company policies while staying informed of novel ideas and interacting with diverse teams.
