About Headway

Headway’s mission is to build a new mental health care system accessible to everyone. They’ve built technology that helps people find therapists accepting insurance. 1 in 4 people in the US have a treatable mental health condition, but most providers don’t accept insurance, making therapy expensive. Headway is building a new mental healthcare system by making it easy for therapists to accept insurance and scale their practice. Founded in 2019, Headway has grown to over 45,000 providers across 50 states and served over 1 million patients. They are a Series D company with significant funding from prominent investors.

This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a rapidly growing company and shape the future of mental healthcare. You’ll be instrumental in building operational foundations for growth and impact.

What You’ll Do at Headway

  • Design and build foundations for 0-1 initiatives within the Operations function (e.g., piloting new products, processes, and programs).
  • Drive the build, execution, monitoring, and ongoing implementation of scalable products and processes to address core business challenges.
  • Lead cross-functional efforts with product, engineering, payer, and CX teams.
  • Operate as a thought partner to product and data teams, driving the future-first nature of solutions.
