Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required, along with the ability to quickly learn and understand complex concepts, and excellent communication and documentation skills.
The Quantum Benchmarking Initiative Researcher will perform tasks to identify, select, capture, evaluate, and document metrics and approaches for fault-tolerant, utility-scale quantum computers (USQC), generate and execute plans to assess the timeline, performance, and operation metrics of Performer technologies, verify Performer technology plausibility, and participate in frequent VTC meetings, with potential travel to the Washington DC area (DARPA) and support/Performer sites across the country (10%-40% of the month).
