Position Overview

Reddit is seeking currently enrolled university students in the Philippines to join as Campus Ambassadors. This role offers hands-on experience in community management, event planning, and digital marketing, empowering students to represent Reddit on their campus and foster student engagement.

About the Role

As a Reddit Campus Ambassador, you will be instrumental in leading student engagement, driving community growth, and organizing real-world events that connect students to the Reddit platform. This is an ideal opportunity for student leaders passionate about digital communities and seeking to gain valuable marketing and leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Community Building: Build and grow your college's subreddit into a central hub for student life, covering academic advice, cultural trends, and more, making it a primary resource for students.
• Event Planning: Organize at least one event per month (e.g., meetups, AMAs, creative activations) to integrate Reddit into the student experience.
• User Acquisition: Increase student participation on Reddit by explaining its value, onboarding new users, and guiding them to relevant communities.
• Feedback & Insights: Provide feedback and insights to Reddit regarding student needs, while tracking community growth, engagement, and the impact of on-campus events to enhance the platform's support for university communities.
• Campus Partnerships: Collaborate with campus clubs to integrate Reddit into student activities and promote subreddits and upcoming events.
• Long-Term Community Growth: Establish the foundation for a sustainable Reddit community on campus that continues beyond your ambassadorship.
• Event Support: Assist with Reddit Campus engagements as they occur.

Qualifications/Who We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled college/university student in the Philippines.
• Active user of Reddit with a strong understanding of online community dynamics.
• Involved in student life and extracurricular activities.
• A natural connector with a passion for bringing students together and facilitating conversations.
• Demonstrated ability to manage events, grow online communities, and work independently.
• Fluency in English and Filipino is required. Proficiency in Bisaya is a plus.
• This is a one-year opportunity, subject to renewal at Reddit's discretion.
