Requirements

An Associate's Degree is preferred. Business experience in a healthcare and/or insurance setting is preferred. Exceptional communication skills with a clear understanding of company business lines are required. The ability to apply critical thinking, manage time efficiently, and meet specific deadlines is essential. Computer literacy and typing skills are also necessary. Candidates must supply and support their own internet services and maintain an uninterrupted internet connection.

Responsibilities

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for the receipt of new cases, ensuring proper system drafting and setup, and taking direction to facilitate the case assignment and scheduling process. This includes handling the intake of new cases, reviewing and verifying information, drafting cases by entering information into the AccessDS system, and working with clients on any missing information. Responsibilities also include sorting, organizing, and creating medical document listings as required, assigning cases to physicians based on specific criteria, and ensuring no conflict of interest. The role involves monitoring, processing, and tracking cases to meet deadlines, updating clients on cases in progress, and communicating with clients regarding referral information. Additionally, the representative will ensure proper documentation is provided to clients for specified cases and perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
