Requirements

At least 3 years of experience as Communications Architect with main focus in WAN and DC data networking
Expertise in virtual networks (SDN, SDWAN), tools and technical components
Expertise in DC and WAN data networks
Knowledge of EVPN/BGP/VXLAN/Load Balancer/Firewall
Network monitoring and performance
English B2 level
Knowledge of infrastructure components (storage, compute, virtualization, resiliency, security, etc.)

Responsibilities

Evaluate technology, market trends and industry, plus identify prospective impact on business by analyzing system requirements, recommending alternative technologies/improvements
Lead the design and review of new systems, planning integration and evaluating projects
Help define the future of the IT strategy by aligning the trends in communications systems within the overall infrastructure ecosystem
Participate in the analysis, definition, elaboration, communication and maintenance of communications related standards, processes and integration of multivendor platforms
Design and develop infrastructure blueprints for the implementation of new solutions
Take an active part in promoting internal collaboration, knowledge sharing and fluent relationship within the global communications community across Santander Group worldwide
Drive short & long term architecture strategy for the overall IT project portfolio for key business segments
Participate in proof of concepts to assist in defining technology direction and enabling business strategy
