Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience as Communications Architect with main focus in WAN and DC data networking
  • Expertise in virtual networks (SDN, SDWAN), tools and technical components
  • Expertise in DC and WAN data networks
  • Knowledge of EVPN/BGP/VXLAN/Load Balancer/Firewall
  • Network monitoring and performance
  • English B2 level
  • Knowledge of infrastructure components (storage, compute, virtualization, resiliency, security, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate technology, market trends and industry, plus identify prospective impact on business by analyzing system requirements, recommending alternative technologies/improvements
  • Lead the design and review of new systems, planning integration and evaluating projects
  • Help define the future of the IT strategy by aligning the trends in communications systems within the overall infrastructure ecosystem
  • Participate in the analysis, definition, elaboration, communication and maintenance of communications related standards, processes and integration of multivendor platforms
  • Design and develop infrastructure blueprints for the implementation of new solutions
  • Take an active part in promoting internal collaboration, knowledge sharing and fluent relationship within the global communications community across Santander Group worldwide
  • Drive short & long term architecture strategy for the overall IT project portfolio for key business segments
  • Participate in proof of concepts to assist in defining technology direction and enabling business strategy
