Proven experience in a large-scale data center or telecom environment is required, along with a solid understanding of physical design standards and IT security best practices. Familiarity with public cloud infrastructure and cloud-native applications is preferred. Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential. Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design software is necessary. Relevant certifications like CCNA, MCSE, VCP, or Autodesk Certified Professional are a plus.

Responsibilities

The Infrastructure Design Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining data center infrastructure, including facilities structure, cabinets, and equipment layouts. This role involves performing capacity planning, monitoring performance, and troubleshooting infrastructure issues. Responsibilities also include implementing security measures, planning and executing upgrades, documenting processes, and staying updated on data center technologies. The engineer will utilize AutoCAD to create detailed technical drawings for data center designs.
