About The Role

As a Mid-Market Solutions Engineer, you will partner with Account Executives to guide prospective customers through the technical aspects of the buying journey. Your responsibilities include uncovering customer goals, designing tailored solutions using Jasper's platform, supporting managed trials, and ensuring technical confidence during the buying process. Translating complex marketing use cases into compelling, solution-based narratives is crucial for winning new business. This role is ideal for individuals who are creative, resourceful, passionate about AI's transformative power, and eager to make a significant impact in a fast-growing business.

This is a fully remote role, reporting to the Senior Director of Solutions Engineering, and is open to candidates located anywhere in the continental US.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Account Executives to support mid-market sales opportunities from discovery through close, leading conversations around customer needs and technical scoping.
  • Serve as a product expert on Jasper’s solutions, demonstrating the platform's value and its ability to transform customer workflows.
  • Lead compelling value-based demonstrations, both standard and customized.
  • Scope and workshop custom solutions and integration workflows.
  • Proactively forge strong cross-functional partnerships with sales and product teams to stay informed and improve the selling cycle.
  • Understand, track, and document product feedback and competitive intelligence from customers.
  • Advocate internally for product development by documenting and sharing insights with product management.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience as a Pre-Sales Engineer at a startup or SaaS company (Martech experience preferred), specifically working with the Commercial and Mid-Market segments.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Experience working with APIs, building custom Proofs of Concept (POCs), and utilizing iPaaS solutions.
  • Understanding of sales and revenue organization processes.
  • Passion for and experience working with various personas within a marketing organization.
  • A foundational understanding of AI (LLMs, RAG, prompting) is a plus.
  • A clear perspective on how GenAI is assisting marketers and key considerations for launching a GenAI program.
  • Expertise in presenting to diverse stakeholders, including C-Suite executives, VPs, Directors, practitioners, marketing operations, IT, and Security teams.
  • Eagerness to travel for customer meetings and marketing events.
