As a Founding Sales Engineer, you’ll be the technical bridge between Prove AI’s AI-powered governance management software and our customers’ needs. You will be responsible for technical demonstrations, proof-of-concept (POC) deployments, and solution designs, ensuring that our technology aligns with customer workflows while meeting stringent security and compliance requirements. This is a hands-on role that requires both customer-facing and internal collaboration. You’ll work closely with sales, product, and engineering teams, helping to shape our product roadmap based on customer feedback. Additionally, you will bring expertise in LLM tuning, addressing potential pitfalls, deployment challenges, and operational risks associated with AI models in production environments.

Requirements

  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in a technical pre-sales role, or a similar customer-facing technical role in a B2B AI / ML or environment.
  • Education: B.S., or M.S. in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • AI/ML Experience: Have delivered prototypes or products of Generative AI/traditional ML-based solutions.
  • LLM Tuning Expertise: Experience with LLM tuning, including understanding potential risks, operational challenges, and deployment complexities.
  • Technical Skills: Strong technical background with experience in cloud platforms, APIs, and enterprise software integrations.
  • Sales Track Record: Track record of successfully driving technical sales cycles with enterprise customers.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills with both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving and delivery skills, who thrives in a fast-moving, start-up environment with high levels of freedom and ambiguity.

Responsibilities

  • Technical Demonstrations: Own technical demonstrations – Create and deliver compelling product demos tailored to audiences ranging from compliance analysts to C-suite executives.
  • Proof-of-Concept (POC) Deployments: Lead proof-of-concept (POC) deployments – Design and implement POCs that validate our platform’s value, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Technical Evaluations: Guide technical evaluations – Work with customers through technical assessments, security reviews, and compliance discussions.
  • Internal Collaboration: Collaborate internally – Partner with sales, product, and engineering teams to solve technical challenges and influence product development based on customer needs.
  • Technical Asset Development: Build technical assets – Develop reusable demo environments, technical documentation, and best practice guides to support the sales process.
  • Onboarding & Implementation Support: Support onboarding & implementation – Assist customers in configuring integrations, setting up the software, and ensuring a seamless go-live process.
  • New Use Case Identification: Identify new use cases – Work closely with customers to discover additional areas where ProveAI can provide value, driving expansion opportunities.
  • LLM Expertise: Provide expertise in LLM tuning – Work closely with engineering and AI teams to refine and optimize large language models while identifying risks, deployment challenges, and operational inefficiencies.
