Position Overview

As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you will be the first point of contact for our HR and L&D personas at 360Learning. You’ll qualify and convert Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) across various industries within the Mid-Market segment, building a robust pipeline for our sales team. You’ll also proactively source opportunities through targeted outbound efforts. This role is a fantastic launching pad for a career path within 360Learning, potentially leading to Account Executive, Account Manager, or other roles.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, finance, accounting, or a related field (preferred)
  • Experience: At least 4-6 months experience in a B2B SaaS environment, as a BDR or SDR.
  • CRM Experience: Experience using CRM (Salesforce preferred)
  • Sales Engagement Software: Experience with Sales Engagement Software (SalesLoft preferred)
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Onboarding (Within 1 month):
    • Finish onboarding and begin your core role as a BDR.
    • Master the pitch and qualification methodology for inbound leads.
    • Learn our cold call and personalized email frameworks for outbounding.
    • Qualify leads and create your first opportunities for the AEs.
  • Short-Term (Within 3 months):
    • Create SQLs (Sales Qualified Leads) for the Sales team.
    • Polish your outreach in sending personal, strategic, value-add emails and social messages.
    • Master our tool stack (SalesLoft, LinkedIn’s Sales Navigator, Gong, etc.).
    • Qualify inbound demo requests from our website.
    • Get creative by bringing innovative lead generation ideas to weekly meetings.
  • Mid-Term (Within 6 months):
    • Achieve and exceed monthly quotas of demos, meetings, and qualified opportunities.
    • Identify and leverage compelling new business entryways for very targeted outreach.
  • Long-Term (Within 12 months):
    • Contribute as a subject matter expert on the 360Learning platform and share your knowledge with the rest of the organization.
