Position Overview

This role is responsible for promoting pharmaceutical products within a designated region, focusing on building relationships with healthcare professionals, driving product adoption, and achieving sales targets.


Responsibilities

Daily Activities:

  • Sales Calls: Ensure 4.5 days of normal sales calls per week.
  • Call Volume: Achieve a minimum of 12 face-to-face effective calls per day.
  • Client Coverage: Ensure correct coverage and frequency of visits for A and B level clients.

VIP Engagement:

  • Conduct at least one visit per month to key hospital leaders (e.g., President, Director of Pharmacy, Pharmacy Committee members, key opinion leaders) within the assigned territory to gain maximum support.

Product Promotion:

  • Conduct at least one product introduction meeting per week to enhance doctor's understanding of the products.

Performance Management:

  • Plan for the assigned territory at the beginning of each month based on company targets.
  • Track progress weekly to achieve personal goals.

Territory Management:

  • Plan and manage hospitals within the assigned territory.
  • Regularly update customer department information within the territory.
  • Expand business in the region through a principle of intensive cultivation.

Financial Management:

  • Submit expense pre-applications for market activities based on the budget provided by the regional manager, considering market conditions.
  • Expenditures must be approved by the regional manager.
  • Submit expense reports to the District Manager (DM) within 3 weeks of occurrence.

Product Management:

  • Develop monthly product development plans and key product development plans, especially for new products, based on strategies from the company's marketing department and product managers, considering specific regional situations.

Product Knowledge:

  • Participate in product knowledge sharing during weekly meetings.
  • Undergo regular product knowledge tests, which will be used for performance evaluation.

Sales Skills:

  • Effectively utilize learned sales techniques in the field to improve the efficiency of effective calls.

Working Hours:

  • Ensure 8 hours of effective sales work within the territory daily.
  • Maintain availability via phone between 8:00 AM and 10:00 PM to ensure contact with the company and clients. (Company provides communication and transportation allowances).

Reporting:

  • Manage and submit required reports.

Requirements

  • Industry Experience: 2+ years of work experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Role Experience: 1+ year of pharmaceutical product promotion experience.
  • Language Skills: Basic English listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and web browsers.
  • Travel: Willingness to undertake travel tasks as required by the company.
  • Certifications: RDPAC Certificate.
