Requirements

The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in digital marketing and social media, preferably within a tech or open-source organization. Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail and tone are essential, along with experience supporting events. Proficiency in HubSpot and basic design/image editing skills using tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite are required. Familiarity with CMS tools for web publishing, such as WordPress, is also necessary. Candidates should be highly organized, self-motivated, able to manage multiple priorities, and possess a collaborative spirit with a curiosity for cloud native technologies. Some travel, including international, may be required.

Responsibilities

The Marketing Communications Associate will manage the social media calendar across various platforms, creating engaging content and aligning posts with projects, campaigns, and events. This role involves supporting promotional tactics for third-party and CNCF-related events, publishing content and updates to the CNCF website, and building/scheduling email campaigns using HubSpot. The associate will also assist in campaign strategy and execution, including asset coordination and landing page setup, and contribute to program performance and impact reporting.
