We’re at an important moment in our company’s growth trajectory and looking for a Content Marketing Manager to supercharge our content development and distribution capabilities. You’ll lead the effort to educate EnergyHub utility clients on how to deliver a reliable, decarbonized electricity system.

About the Opportunity

As Content Marketing Manager, you’ll oversee content creation and distribution in paid and owned channels, accelerating our impact with expert project management skills, knack for using data to inform strategy, and ability to work with creatives and technical teams with equal ease. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external resources to develop and execute our content roadmap, activate campaigns, and optimize content-related processes.

Main Responsibilities: What you’ll do

Content Strategy

  • Lead development of annual content roadmap.
  • Define campaign objectives in partnership with Product Marketing, Sales, Partner Solutions, and Client Success teams to ensure alignment of content roadmap with company strategy.
  • Lead development of paid and owned content calendar.

Content Development

  • Lead content development process for marketing campaigns, customer marketing program, and stand-alone communications.
  • Create briefs and manage content development process, engaging stakeholders for input and review as required.
  • Oversee development of high-quality assets including white papers, fact sheets, case studies, blog posts, email copy, video content, social posts, conference and awards abstracts, and ad copy with additional asset types as needed.
  • Audit existing content and identify opportunities for optimization and extension via new formats to increase reach and value of existing assets.
  • Use insights to optimize new content and existing web properties.
  • Manage external resources supporting content development, including external agency, copywriters, graphic designers, and video production and website agency partners.
  • Develop and iterate on content best practices through testing of content types, messaging, and distribution channels.

Reporting

  • Own paid media reporting and leverage performance insights to optimize and guide ongoing paid media planning and strategy.
  • Collaborate with the marketing operations team to track and report on campaign-driven pipeline influence and revenue impact.

Content Distribution

  • Maintain brand website, ensuring it’s up to date with the latest positioning and content.
  • Oversee and manage B2B email marketing program, owned social media channels, and digital community engagement.
  • Own paid media strategy, traffic assets to paid media partners.

Cross-team Collaboration

  • Partner with Integrated Marketing team members to maintain library of brand marketing resources for internal and external partners.
  • Maintain EnergyHub content library.

Required Skills and Experience: What you need

  • 5+ years in content marketing, ideally in technology or clean energy, with the ability to be both hands-on and strategic.
  • Belief in the ability of great stories to help decarbonize our electricity system.
  • Ability to communicate highly-technical subject matter in an accessible manner.
  • Deep understanding of audiences and buyer personas and how to create content that resonates with target audiences.
  • Experience using data to guide content development and optimization.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute content marketing strategies to achieve specific goals.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills.
  • Collaborative, cross-functional team player.
  • Project management experience and the ability to work independently on multiple projects while staying hig
