Candidates should have 6+ years of relevant professional experience in government and/or technology and project management, with 1-2 years of experience as a people manager. A high performance in people and relationship management, strong written and verbal communication abilities, exceptional organization skills, and strong project management skills are required. Experience working in government or policy, and experience working in a client-facing capacity within a SaaS organization are also necessary. Proven track record of leading delivery teams at a SaaS company and experience managing services P&L and utilization targets are distinguishing qualifications.
The Manager of Client Engagements will directly manage a team of skilled analysts and be responsible for the delivery of FiscalNote services. This role involves engagement in the day-to-day delivery of service offerings, constant engagement with Business Development, and liaison with Engineering and Product. The manager will help implement various processes and best practices to enable the team and the company to scale, and lead strategic initiatives that have a wide impact on the direction of the Professional Services Team. Responsibilities include providing ongoing coaching and career development, partnering closely with Account Management, Client Success, and go-to-market leaders, and leading cross-functional initiatives with business development, marketing, and product. The role also involves overseeing and optimizing team staffing structure, partnering with go-to-market leaders to identify opportunities to improve and expand offerings, managing or participating on a select number of strategic client engagements, planning and implementing initiatives to ensure optimal workflow, working closely with leadership on financial and workforce planning, and leading targeted efforts to improve productivity and service outcomes.
