Candidates should possess 2-3 years of B2B upmarket sales experience, preferably in the technology sector, with a proven track record of success in targeting state and local government, K-12, and higher education, demonstrating the ability to meet and exceed sales quotas and maintain an existing customer base while cultivating new business and upselling services/products.
The Majors Expansion Account Manager will proactively manage a portfolio of RingCentral’s premier installed public sector customers, cultivating and saturating business within these accounts, uncovering and capitalizing on upsell opportunities, providing a high level of customer service, leveraging B2B solution selling skills to grow their book of business, expanding the RingCentral footprint within customer accounts, becoming an expert on the RingCentral Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) Platform, understanding customer business priorities and systems, utilizing sales methodologies and processes, and acting as an innovator to drive the communication message within multiple sub-verticals.
