Requirements

Minimum 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Mechanical and electrical repair knowledge
Working experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical (480V), and preventive maintenance in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of 120, 208, and 480 VAC circuits
Experience with conveyors, electronics, PLC hardware and ladder logic
Understanding of motor control circuitry (VFDs, soft starts, etc.)
Ability to read schematics and blueprints
Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders
PLC troubleshooting experience preferred

Responsibilities

Set up and operate lathe, milling machine, drill press, grinder, power saws, welder, etc., and improvise when equipment is limited
Design and build small tools and fixtures from sketches or verbal instructions
Make periodic checks of machines and equipment and perform preventative maintenance (oiling, greasing, etc.)
Perform carpentry and sheet metal work to fabricate and repair benches, guards, boxes, trays, etc
Make sketches for and build racks, bins, shelves, and other aids to production
Plan and lay out work, determine accurate and efficient methods, and diagnose and correct difficulties to minimize production downtime
Emphasize safe work practices, adherence to LOTO procedures, and use of PPE
Troubleshoot and repair machinery, conveyors, and robotics
Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make adjustments
Perform mechanic skills including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production machines
Perform preventive maintenance to assure maximum equipment functionality
Adhere to, implement, and follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times
May be required to work overtime, weekends, come in early, or stay late as needed based on production demands
