Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s degree, certification(s) or some related college courses highly preferred
  • 6+ years of related experience required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical, time management and organizational skills
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency with office software and productivity tools
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Familiarity with fuel systems
  • Strong, demonstratable mechanical ability
  • Familiarity of basic aircraft systems
  • Ability to sit, stand, stoop, reach, lift (up to 30 lbs.), bend, etc. (constant)
  • Hand and wrist dexterity to use computer and complete tasks
  • Ability to work in a workshop/production facility environment
  • Must qualify as a U.S. person under the ITAR and the EAR

Responsibilities

  • Accurate interpretation of technical information (written, verbal, drawings etc.)
  • Work with Engineering and other departments to ensure a high-quality new product implementation
  • Keep tools organized and in a ready to use state (maintain sharp tools)
  • Assist in determining project schedule and ensuring adherence to schedule
  • Diagnosing problems and troubleshooting equipment
  • Running tests and completing reports
  • Assist in determining “best way” to take a concept to production with an eye toward manufacturability
  • Repairing or replacing faulty equipment
  • Assist in training of new employees as needed
  • Developing and implementing preventative maintenance procedures
  • Training of employees in production of newly created parts
  • Planning and scheduling repairs
  • Input and creation of production and R&D tooling (molds and fixtures)
  • Timely completion of production tasks
  • Other duties as assigned
