Requirements

  • B.S. or B.A. preferred; 1 or 2 years of experience in a training environment preferred
  • Fluent in English with the ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group settings to all levels of the organization
  • Spanish and/or Japanese fluency, and/or experience with formal writing or translating in Spanish/Japanese is a plus
  • Reliable attendance and flexibility to altering and/or changing shifts
  • Strong computer skills (Gmail, Google Drive, Google Slides, etc.)
  • Proven work experience training others
  • Proven experience in designing training events in a corporate setting, including technical writing skills (writing manuals)
  • Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or in-classroom training, e-learning, workshops)

Responsibilities

  • Assist training in all key areas of the business, including Operations and non-operations that may have training needs; deliver training to new workers, agency temps, and existing workers across the organization
  • Support onboarding by conducting Collectors Orientation for all new employees and agency temps
  • Build annual programs and prepare teaching plans for areas such as safety and compliance for all employees and agency temps
  • Promote a Safety Culture and inform the workforce on safety topics
  • Communicate and collaborate with Collectors personnel from all departments, divisions, and different levels of leadership
  • Identify, enhance, facilitate, and conduct training needs with the Learning Leadership’s guidance
  • Improve policies, procedures, and processes through Collectors Values, especially Seeking Feedback Early and Often, to recommend and implement optimal solutions
  • Work directly with the Learning Lead and Learning Manager to organize, plan, create, and execute training projects, including writing manuals, creating training content using Google Slides or Google Docs, and conducting/delivering training sessions (classroom style or one-on-one)
  • Adapt approach to accommodate various learning styles while collaborating with the leadership team to ensure consistent content delivery
