Strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom facilitation skills are essential, along with comfort using digital tools like LMS and video conferencing. Applicants should be proactive, reliable, committed to high-quality online education, and passionate about equity, access, and supporting diverse students. Availability for 8-10 hours per week per course, with flexibility for training, is required.
Instructors will teach 11-week live, online courses using student-centered strategies, fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment. Responsibilities include providing timely feedback, responding to student inquiries within 24 hours, hosting weekly office hours, and collaborating with Teaching Assistants. Instructors will evaluate student progress, maintain grade records, submit evaluations, share best practices with peers, contribute to co-curricular programming, and stay current on industry and pedagogy trends.
