Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in healthcare, computer science, IT, or a related field, or have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales engineer, implementation engineer, system administrator, architect, or project management role, preferably within the healthcare industry. Familiarity with clinical technology systems supporting patient care and safety is required. Preferred qualifications include familiarity with construction drawings, experience with contractors, the ability to manage workload and prioritize tasks with high accuracy, knowledge of IT networks and infrastructure, and experience estimating multiple scopes.
The Lead Specialist, Clinical Solutions Architect will collaborate with sales partners to define solution scopes aligning with customer needs for Baxter's Care Communications portfolio, including Nurse Call, RTLS, and Patient Engagement Systems. They will partner with internal teams to deliver initial Nurse Call Solution Designs and Quotes, conduct onsite facility walkthroughs, and review proposed designs with customers. Responsibilities also include fostering positive relationships with internal partners to develop Statements of Work, Quotes, and Change Orders, maintaining Statement of Work language, providing deal documentation, and assisting with customer communication and presentations. The role also involves identifying and promoting opportunities for continuous improvement in the Solution Design & Quoting process.
