Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a solutions architect, data architect, database administrator, or data engineer is required, along with at least 3 years of technical consulting experience. Experience in a lead role for analytics projects within large enterprises is also necessary, as well as familiarity with industry common BI and ETL solutions.
As a Snowflake Solutions Architect, you will directly engage with customers individually or as part of a technical delivery team, oversee and advise on the implementation of the customer’s Snowflake platform, demonstrate technical leadership through personally developed code and solution architectures, act as a trusted advisor to customer executive leadership, extract business requirements and translate them into well-architected recommendations, develop and provide forward-looking guidance, decompose future state goals into actionable execution plans, collaborate with Snowflake GTM and product teams, and leverage known best practices to reduce risk to customer implementations.
