Requirements

Candidates must possess a university degree in natural sciences or economics, or a comparable education with relevant professional experience. A minimum of 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical field sales, specifically within the pharmacy business, is required. Experience in the generics sector is desirable. Strong communication skills, empathy, analytical thinking, and proficiency in CRM, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel are essential. Fluency in German and good English skills are necessary, along with a willingness to travel within German-speaking Switzerland.

Responsibilities

The Key Account Manager will be responsible for developing and expanding the market by acquiring new customers and nurturing existing relationships within the pharmaceutical sector. This includes providing expert advice and support to pharmacists, medical professionals, purchasing departments, and nursing staff in the fields of anesthesia, oncology, and specialty injectable pharmaceuticals across German-speaking Switzerland. The role involves creating account plans, defining and achieving annual targets, coordinating and implementing contracts with hospitals, purchasing groups, and wholesalers, and identifying and responding to tender opportunities.
