For our Pharmaceuticals division, we are seeking a Key Account Manager (m/w/d) for the German-speaking Switzerland region. In this role, you will provide expert advice and support to pharmacists, medical professionals, purchasing departments, nursing staff, and medical technology specialists in the fields of Anesthesia, Oncology, and Specialty Injectable Pharmaceuticals.

Responsibilities

  • Market Development: Build and develop the market by acquiring new customers and expanding/managing existing customer relationships.
  • Customer Support: Provide expert advice and support to target groups in the aforementioned areas throughout German-speaking Switzerland.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop account plans and define/achieve annual targets.
  • Contract Management: Coordinate, prepare, and implement contracts with hospitals, purchasing groups (EKVs), and wholesalers for assigned products.
  • Tender Management: Identify tender renewals and respond to tender opportunities.

Requirements

  • University degree in natural sciences or economics, or a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in pharmaceutical field sales, with experience in the pharmacy business.
  • Experience in the generics sector is desirable.
  • High communication skills, empathy, and the ability to create win-win situations for all negotiation partners.
  • Interest in business-related contexts and analytical thinking skills.
  • Good PC skills (CRM, PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
  • Willingness to travel within German-speaking Switzerland.
  • Fluent German and good English language skills.
