Requirements

  • Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience in the automotive industry, ideally in a Tier 1 supplier role
  • Strong record in managing important accounts
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Fluent in French and English
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) with the ability to manage complex data
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Team management skills and ability to take challenges continuously

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key accounts in the automotive industry
  • Understand client needs and objectives, and propose tailored solutions
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, issues, and escalations
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share
  • Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts
  • Forecast sales volumes and monitor performance against targets
  • Report on sales activities and outcomes
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, terms, and conditions with clients
  • Ensure contracts are executed accurately and in compliance with company policies
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities
  • Stay updated on industry developments, regulations, and technological advancements
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product development, operations) to align sales strategies
  • Provide input to product development teams based on client feedback
  • Prepare regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and account performance
  • Analyze sales data to identify SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) and recommend corrective actions
