Candidates must possess effective communication, patience, tenacity, and follow-through in resolving internal customer support calls. An ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users, collaborate with other teams, and manage tasks efficiently with strong prioritization skills is essential. Intermediate knowledge of OS concepts and Active Directory account creation/maintenance, including OU and Security Group management, is required.
Serve as a front-line Service Desk team member, managing inbound support requests and facilitating resolutions for internal customers. Maintain operational knowledge of Mac, Windows, and Linux OS features, best practices, and configurations. Manage CrowdStrike endpoints via SCCM, Jamf, and AirWatch, including monitoring, securing, updating, patching, troubleshooting, automating, and optimizing systems. Contribute to streamlining employee application experiences, testing new releases, and researching solutions. Configure new-hire systems and perform IT onboarding. Act as a local resource for hands-on assistance in the server/networking room, with potential occasional travel. Collaborate with IT Service Desk team members and subject matter experts on projects. Implement, improve, and document policies, procedures, and processes for IT systems. Maintain inventory and assist with asset procurement, delivery, and shipping. Provide support for A/V equipment and assist employees in the office as necessary.
