Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in IT support or systems administration within a Mac-only, remote-first setting. Proficient hands-on experience is required with Google Workspaces admin console & SSO, Office 365 suite, Zoom admin controls, Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence), GitHub (user access, integrations, permissions), Kandji or similar MDM solutions, Bitdefender or similar endpoint protection tools, and a scripting or programming language. Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 Type 2, ISO 27001, and PCI DSS is necessary, as is experience assisting with or completing security questionnaires for sales enablement. A strong understanding of identity and access management principles, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment are also essential.
The IT Support Specialist will provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support for a remote workforce using MacBooks exclusively. Responsibilities include managing and supporting user accounts, access provisioning, and integrations across Google Workspaces, Office 365, Zoom, Atlassian tools, and GitHub. The role involves administering and enforcing device security and compliance policies through Kandji MDM and Bitdefender, troubleshooting hardware, software, VPN, and cloud service issues, and maintaining/documenting standard operating procedures. Additionally, the specialist will support audits and evidence gathering for ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type II, and PCI DSS compliance, assist in responding to security questionnaires, monitor system logs for threats, and ensure compliance with identity and access management protocols. The role also includes tracking and reporting IT and security metrics, identifying automation opportunities, managing asset inventory, and collaborating with InfoSec, Sales, and Engineering teams to support cross-functional initiatives and internal documentation.
