Requirements

Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, with additional coursework in healthcare administration or a related field being a plus. A minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare customer service or patient engagement is required, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong organizational and multitasking abilities, and proficiency in healthcare software and CRM systems. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy practices is essential. The ideal candidate will have direct patient experience in maternal health or mental health care and experience in high call volume or high volume patient interaction roles, with the ability to work PST hours.

Responsibilities

The Intake and Engagement Coordinator will conduct 20-minute phone consultations with prospective patients to screen them for the care model, explain therapy, answer questions, check insurance eligibility, and enroll them. They will manage prospective patient intake phone and text lines, engage patients, and schedule consultations. Responsibilities also include managing patient outreach initiatives via call, SMS, and email, assisting patients with intake form completion, maintaining accurate patient records in the CRM (Hubspot), monitoring conversion rates and engagement metrics, and participating in ongoing training and development. The role involves proposing process updates as needed to maintain efficiency and compliance.
