The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience designing and developing e-learning content in corporate training or edtech, a strong portfolio of interactive and structured learning modules, and proficiency in tools like Articulate Rise, Storyline, Captivate, and LMS standards such as SCORM, xAPI, or cmi5. Deep knowledge of instructional design methodologies such as ADDIE, SAM, or Bloom’s Taxonomy, strong communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to simplify complex or technical material into engaging content are also required. Familiarity with crypto, fintech, or emerging technologies and experience in a startup or remote-first environment are considered nice to have. Candidates must have the legal right to work in their country of residence without sponsorship.
The Instructional Designer will convert research reports, whitepapers, presentations, and transcripts into interactive e-learning modules. They will design content using adult learning principles and instructional design best practices, building for diverse audiences including B2B enterprise teams, B2C learners, and certification programs. The role involves developing modules using tools such as Articulate Rise, Storyline, Captivate, or similar, and collaborating with researchers, product managers, and subject matter experts to align content with business and learner goals. Responsibilities also include creating assessments, quizzes, and checkpoints to measure learner progress, tailoring content tone and presentation for different course types, and ensuring consistency in voice, design, and accessibility across the course library. The Instructional Designer will also use learner feedback and analytics to improve course quality and engagement.
