Requirements

Candidates must possess at least 3 years of experience developing with ColdFusion, including proficiency in CFML, HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, and XML, along with strong knowledge of SQL and experience creating, maintaining, and debugging stored database procedures, particularly in SQL Server. Familiarity with WCAG and accessible design is also required, as is a Bachelor's degree in IT, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field, or 7+ years of development experience in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

The Coldfusion Developer will provide operations and maintenance support for a suite of applications, including tech stack lifecycle updates and security vulnerability remediation, and assist with the agile development and modernization of legacy applications. They will participate in scrum teams to address backlog items, proactively identify tasks and opportunities for improvement, support creation of technical documentation, and use Agency approved GitHub repositories to manage source code and release packages. Additionally, the developer will support new projects, tasks, and software development projects as requested, and work with federal development resources to organize and prioritize work with product owners.
