Requirements

Candidates must possess an active Health Insurance License or the ability to obtain one, be proficient in both English and Mandarin with the ability to speak, read, and write fluently in both languages without limitations or assistance, and demonstrate strong verbal communication skills. Applicants should also be able to connect meaningfully with customers to build emotional engagement and customer advocacy, simplify complexity, and integrate internal efforts to deliver an optimal customer experience, and easily adapt to learning new software/programs and follows call flow processes and procedures.

Responsibilities

The Senior Telesales Agent conducts selling activities related to inbound calls inquiring about individual health plan products, qualifies prospects, attempts to close sales, and successfully handles consumer calls that may require the use of an interpreter or TTY service. They may originate calls from leads, understand department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, and make decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Additionally, the Senior Telesales Agent will monitor and interpret changes in employment legislation across North America and develop HR policies to ensure compliance.
