Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in inside sales / customer service
  • Associates / Technical degree preferred
  • Inside sales experience in a manufacturing or industrial distribution environment preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, E-mail) and vendor pricing programs
  • Working experience with Trend (CRM) is a plus
  • Strong analytical, mathematical, and mechanical aptitude

Responsibilities

  • Provide support and develop relationships with customers and sales teams
  • Respond to inquiries from customers and Account Managers by processing requests for price, delivery, returns, order status, order expedites, product literature, and technical assistance
  • Support customers and outside sales team
  • Prioritize and manage multiple requests in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactively anticipate customer's and manager's needs
  • Field 50-100+ emails daily
  • Effectively communicate via email/phone
