Requirements

Candidates should have at least one year of experience in Implementation, Sales Engineering, Customer Success, Support, or Integrations-focused Solution Consulting. Experience with software development processes, particularly Jira and source control systems like GitHub, is required. Prior experience working at a software company, ideally SaaS, and comfort in a dynamic startup environment are necessary. Strong project management skills for customer-facing projects and proficiency with collaborative project management tools are essential. Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation skills, and the ability to persuade internal and external resources are also required. Technical proficiency and an aptitude for data analysis are needed. Applicants must be authorized to work in the US.

Responsibilities

The Implementation Engineer will partner with Customer Success Managers to ensure Jellyfish aligns with customer software engineering practices, both during onboarding and as practices evolve. This role involves meeting with new customers to understand their development practices, proposing integration strategies, and managing the implementation project plan through product configuration and resource engagement. The engineer will consult with sales teams on prior work, manage the customer experience during onboarding with an emphasis on communication and escalation, and conduct initial customer training. They will also provide ongoing recommendations for new or complex configurations and communicate product changes to customers through training and enablement sessions. Occasional travel may be required.
