Responsibilities

  • Direct the development and implementation of HR strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Provide guidance on HR policies and practices
  • Foster a culture of employee engagement and development
  • Collaborate with management as a strategic advisor to identify and prioritize HR initiatives aligned with strategic goals
  • Align HR policies and programs for the business unit or region to promote employee engagement, retention, and performance
  • Act as a trusted coach to leaders and managers on HR-related matters, including performance management, compensation, and benefits
  • Analyze HR metrics and data to identify trends and opportunities, and provide data-driven recommendations to senior management
  • Lead a team of HR professionals to collaborate with Centers of Excellence and serve as thought leaders
  • Provide sound management skills in leading/managing strategic projects
  • Lead projects and develop/implement change management methods to facilitate deployment of HR programs and processes
  • Assist with hiring, training, and safety-related initiatives
  • Work with employees on all payrolls and shifts to provide direction on interpretation and application of policies, practices, and procedures, ensuring consistency
