Knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and local laws, regulatory codes, ordinances, and procedures relevant to human resources
Outstanding conflict resolution and communication skills
Ability to supervise a team of 1 with multi-site responsibilities
Ability to conduct workplace investigations, coach managers on terminations, and provide data management and analytics
Responsibilities

Lead and promote HR initiatives and programs that align with corporate goals and values
Oversee development and implementation of recruitment, testing, and selection processes, including evaluating recruitment materials and sources
Perform job analysis and classification studies for new and existing positions; design and write new or modify existing classification specifications
Conduct compensation studies, determine internal and external comparators, and make recommendations
Conduct workplace investigations; write notices and correspondence for General Counsel review; make recommendations to General Manager and General Counsel; coach managers/supervisors on termination meetings and serve as witness
Prepare and present regulatory and staff reports and other written materials
Attend professional group meetings and committees; stay abreast of HR trends and innovations
Oversee on-site orientation and training for all new hires
Review bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salary employees
Provide data management and analytics to support organizational requirements
Resolve complex issues using conflict resolution and communication skills
Counsel employees and supervisors on employment-related matters and clarify policies/procedures
Monitor operations of assigned staff; identify and implement service improvements and process changes
Facilitate daily HR operations including recruitment, job classification, compensation, benefits administration, employee training/development, workers’ compensation, and employee/labor relations
