Requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and good communicator
  • Mastery of English, both spoken and written
  • Comfortable working in a global matrix corporate culture
  • Bac +5 education, ideally from a grande école de commerce
  • 7-10 years of experience as a generalist/business partner in an international organization
  • Good knowledge of the French labor market and its practices
  • Experience in supporting works councils (comités d'entreprise) and managing employee representatives (IRP)
  • Extensive experience in fundamental HR management principles in a matrix environment (recruitment, training and development, compensation and benefits, employee relations, and social relations)
  • Experience in talent management

Responsibilities

  • Act as a key Business Partner attached to the Senior HR Manager for France, integrating HR strategy into business processes and providing HR expertise to managers
  • Serve as the reference point for managers on team-related decisions to optimize organization during company transformation
  • Analyze, anticipate, and define current and future organizational needs from a "people" perspective
  • Build trust-based relationships with managers and employees to support team management, including employee development, difficult decisions, and skill enhancement
  • Collaborate with HR centers of expertise to implement talent management, performance, compensation practices, and attraction/retention strategies to support local growth and transformation objectives
  • Manage operational HR processes (performance, development, career, engagement, and culture) and adopt a coaching posture for managers on performance management
  • Improve HR practices to contribute to overall company performance
  • Participate in animating the EMEA HR community, collaborate with HR leaders in France and EMEA, and contribute to cross-functional HR projects
  • Handle legal aspects, including participating in works council meetings, union negotiations (NAO), supporting individual disciplinary cases, and knowledge of sector collective agreements
