About the Role

As an HR Business Partner at Plooto, you’ll be a trusted advisor and change catalyst, operating at the intersection of people strategy and business performance. You’ll partner with leaders and teams to design and deliver HR solutions that align with our business objectives, scale with our growth, and reflect our values.

In this role, you will combine deep HR expertise with a proactive, data-informed approach—anticipating challenges, spotting opportunities, and shaping a culture where our people can thrive. You will lead strategic initiatives while executing with precision, balancing the big picture with operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Partnership & Consulting

  • Serve as a trusted HR advisor to leaders and managers, influencing decisions with data, insight, and business acumen.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure HR strategies enable Plooto’s growth plans and operational priorities.
  • Translate business needs into people strategies that drive performance, engagement, and retention.

Culture & Engagement

  • Shape and sustain an inclusive, high-performance culture where every employee feels valued and connected to our mission.
  • Champion engagement initiatives that foster trust, belonging, and collaboration across teams.

Performance & Development

  • Evolve and execute performance management practices that enable clarity, accountability, and growth.
  • Partner with leaders to design career pathways and learning experiences aligned to business needs.

Employee Relations & Advocacy

  • Lead employee relations matters with integrity, empathy, and transparency, balancing advocacy for individuals with organizational needs.
  • Coach managers on effective people leadership, empowering them to solve challenges directly and constructively.

HR Analytics & Insights

  • Use HR metrics, trends, and insights to guide decision-making, measure impact, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Present recommendations to senior leadership, connecting people data to business outcomes.

Total Rewards & Compliance

  • Support the administration and communication of compensation and benefits programs that are competitive, equitable, and aligned to strategy.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and internal policies, proactively addressing risks.

Operational Excellence

  • Lead continuous improvement efforts for HR systems, processes, and tools—optimizing for simplicity, scalability, and user experience.
  • Partner to deliver an exceptional onboarding experience and a thoughtful offboarding process.

Qualifications

Experience

  • 5+ years in an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist role with increasing responsibility, ideally in high-growth tech or startup environments.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; HR certification is a plus.

  • Demonstrated ability to build trust and influence at all levels.
