Position Overview

Zoetis Tech and Digital (ZTD) is building a new Global Commercial Value Streams organization to integrate best-in-class capabilities, technologies, and partners, aiming to deliver significant value to Zoetis, its customers, and pet owners.

The Head of ZTD Global Commercial Enablement Value Stream and Product Line is a senior leadership position within the ZTD Global Commercial team. This role is responsible for guiding the strategic direction, development, and delivery of global commercial enablement products, organized into value streams and product lines. Success in this role requires a leader with a profound understanding of sales performance management, rebate and pricing management, customer integrations, product management, and value stream alignment to foster innovation and drive business value. A key aspect of this position is instilling a global-centric mindset across all commercial enablement products. This involves close coordination with global and regional business leaders, ZTD business partners, and managing a team of product owners to ensure the successful execution of multi-year roadmaps.

Position Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership and Vision

  • Develop and drive the vision and strategy for global commercial enablement products organized within a value stream framework.
  • Co-create unified digital strategies and multi-year roadmaps in collaboration with global business process owners and ZTD business partners.
  • Champion ZTD-led innovation for new strategic business initiatives within commercial enablement.

Product Management and Delivery

  • Oversee the coordination of vision and roadmaps for all product lines within commercial enablement.
  • Manage the budgeting and allocation of resources for product development and delivery.
  • Ensure the successful implementation of multi-year commercial enablement product roadmaps, enabling ongoing delivery agility.
  • Set priorities for product and feature delivery in alignment with business product owners.
  • Monitor and drive business value realization across commercial enablement initiatives.
  • Facilitate decision-making and arbitration regarding trade-offs, both internally and between different stakeholders and technologies.

Stakeholder Collaboration and Alignment

  • Work closely with global and regional business leaders to align digital strategies with overarching business goals.
  • Serve as the primary point of collaboration and alignment for commercial enablement teams across Zoetis.
  • Provide insights and recommendations on the feasibility and alignment of new commercial enablement product intake.
  • Engage in knowledge sharing across value streams and products to ensure the adoption of best practices.

Team Leadership and Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of product owners.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure the team is equipped with the necessary skills and resources to achieve business objectives.
  • Manage the team in alignment with the ZTD workforce strategy, including supporting the establishment of the India Capabilities Center for Commercial delivery.

Education and Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree is preferred.
  • Experience:
    • 10 to 12 years of relevant experience in digital strategy, product management, and value stream alignment.
    • At least 5 years in a leadership role.
    • Practical experience with commercial platforms (SPM, Pricing, Rebates, EDI, APIs, Revenue Management), analytics & data, and customer experience disciplines in a global setting.
    • A professional record of accomplishment demonstrating significant strategic partnership and contribution to the business, including proven leadership in large, complex, multi-divisional global environments.
    • Must be highly motivated, a self-starter, committed to achieving results, and possess a strong sense of ownership and follow-through to resolution.
