Deep understanding of prescribing pathways, HCP engagement, and market dynamics is essential, as are excellent relationship-building skills with the ability to influence at senior levels. The ideal candidate is commercially sharp, a strategic thinker capable of translating insights into action, and a skilled negotiator with strong communication and presentation abilities. Comfort working autonomously while leading cross-functional collaboration is necessary. Experience in medicinal cannabis or emerging therapeutic areas, along with an understanding of TGA regulations, Authorised Prescriber pathways, and Special Access Schemes, are desirable qualifications.

Responsibilities

The Growth & Strategic Partnerships Lead will drive commercial growth and shape patient care through high-value partnerships, spearheading growth within the market access channel and building strategic relationships across clinics, prescribers, suppliers, and industry partners. This involves driving business development across Montu’s network of medical cannabis clinics, identifying opportunities for growth and deeper collaboration. Responsibilities include developing partnerships beyond the clinic with suppliers and other Montu businesses, supporting corporate development initiatives and supplier relationships, and contributing to procurement and synergy opportunities. The role requires prospecting, engaging, and converting partners from outreach to deal closure, negotiating agreements, driving partner-led revenue, and opening new pathways for field teams. It also involves refining KPIs and sales alignment, owning strategic relationships with prescribing partners and clinics, collaborating with internal cross-functional teams to ensure measurable success, and tracking and reporting performance, ensuring compliance with TGA and regulatory frameworks, and sharing insights with senior leadership to inform strategy.
