Position Overview

Collectors is the leading creator of innovative technology that provides value-added services for collectors worldwide. We grade, authenticate, vault, and sell millions of record-setting collectibles, all while modernizing and digitalizing the process to further our mission of helping collectors pursue their passions. We’re always on the lookout for talented people to join our growing team.

Our services span collectible coins, trading cards, Funko Pops!, video games, event tickets, autographs, and memorabilia. Our subsidiaries include PSA, PCGS, SGC, WATA, and Card Ladder.

Since our founding in 1986, we have graded and authenticated millions of items. We employ more than 1,900 people across our headquarters in Santa Ana and offices in Jersey City, Tokyo, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Toronto, Guadalajara, Dallas, and Paris.

We’re looking for a Growth Operations Analyst to join our Growth Marketing team. This role will be a key contributor in two core areas of the business: technical ad operations and growth marketing analytics. You will play a crucial role in optimizing and scaling our digital marketing efforts through data analysis, technical implementation, tagging and attribution development, report automation, and performance tracking.

The ideal candidate will be a versatile professional capable of managing, optimizing and scaling a wide variety of key marketing technology and marketing analytics platforms, including but not limited to Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Quantum Metric, Firebase, A/B testing tools, programmatic marketing ad platforms, affiliate marketing platforms, and more.

Responsibilities

Growth Operations:

  • SQL & BigQuery Expertise: Write complex SQL queries and manage BigQuery databases to extract, transform, and analyze large datasets to support marketing and business decision-making.
  • Google Tag Manager Development: Implement, maintain, and optimize tracking tags for various digital marketing platforms (Google Ads, Facebook, TikTok, etc.).
  • Website Tagging & Datalayer Management: Collaborate with product and development teams to ensure proper data layer implementation and troubleshoot tracking issues.
  • Analytics Setup & Maintenance: Ensure proper configuration and management of Google Analytics and other marketing analytics platforms to ensure accurate tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • DBT Analysis: Use DBT to create clean, organized, and scalable data models that drive actionable insights for growth marketing initiatives.

Marketing Analytics:

  • Data Integrity & Troubleshooting: Regularly audit and monitor data collection processes to ensure consistent, accurate, and complete data for analysis and reporting.
  • Reporting: Develop and automate reports to track marketing campaign performance and provide insights to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • You will be responsible for developing, managing, and troubleshooting tagging and tracking infrastructures across web, mobile web, and mobile apps using Google Tag Manager.
  • A key part of your role will be leveraging SQL and BigQuery to conduct analyses, and you will work collaboratively to build insightful dashboards that translate complex data into actionable insights for stakeholders.
  • You will have hands-on experience with the administration of these types of platforms, and will support the upkeep and scale of measurement implementation framework, ensuring data integrity in the data layer, and development of campaign-level and user-level attribution models to optimize performance reporting.

Reporting Structure

You’ll report directly to our Growth Operations Developer and work very closely with our Senior Manager, Marketing Intelligence.

Location

  • This role can be remote or located at one of our offices (Santa Ana, California or Jersey City, New Jersey).
  • Remote or hybrid candidates will also be considered. We believe that there is significant value in in-person collaboration. If you live within a 1-hour commuting distance to one of our offices, you will be required to be onsite most of the time. This will be discussed further as part of the recruiting process.
