Proficiency in conflict resolution, project management, root cause analysis, and problem-solving is essential, as are excellent communication and customer service skills. The ability to travel is also required.
The Senior Account Executive will grow membership within existing accounts and manage business relationships with client accounts, acting as the primary contact for their book of business. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining customer relationships at all levels, establishing and nurturing broker, union, and association contacts, and serving as a liaison between Humana and clients. The executive will coordinate partnership meetings, determine customer strategy, provide updates on Humana initiatives and industry matters, deliver utilization reports, and collaborate with internal partners on renewal strategies. They will lead renewal negotiations, confirm final renewal actions, and manage the implementation process. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with the CEP on meeting schedules and staffing for seminars, conducting and participating in seminars, escalating service issues, and identifying opportunities for process improvement and business growth. The executive will also oversee RFP/RFI completion, ensure client information is updated in Spectrum, and manage the customer termination process. For new customers, they will collaborate with the New Sales team, prepare RFP responses, and present Humana's capabilities. Responsibilities also include reviewing disruption analysis and developing outreach plans, determining marketing strategies, and representing the AE team on internal projects. The executive must complete required training, maintain necessary licenses, and manage travel and expense reporting.
