Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree and demonstrate at least 7 years of experience in sales, with a strong preference for experience in SaaS or market research solutions, and a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets with Fortune 500 clients. They should have excellent listening, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as familiarity with custom research and consultative sales methodologies.
The Global Account Director will be responsible for achieving pipeline and growth targets for a portfolio of assigned Fortune 500 clients, managing the entire sales cycle from initial contact to post-close relationship management, partnering with Research and Commercial teams to identify and implement solutions, and proactively seeking new business opportunities within existing accounts. They will also be responsible for sales progress reporting, maintaining accurate pipeline updates, collaborating with Finance and Legal teams on contract terms, and serving as a knowledgeable ambassador for Morning Consult at client engagements and industry events.
