Requirements

Candidates should have a minimum of 10 years of experience in Business Development and Sales within the Life Sciences sector, serving as the primary account manager. An entrepreneurial sales approach, a proactive mindset for bridging ideas to solutions, deep relationships with pharmaceutical stakeholders, and proven ability to navigate complex client organizations are essential. The role requires the ability to set aggressive yet realizable strategies and tactics, influence without authority, and demonstrate learning agility in a rapidly changing environment. Exceptional account management and articulation skills are also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Key Account Director will develop and drive global account strategy, meet and exceed revenue goals for Tempus Dx and CRO product lines, and build executive and R&D relationships. Responsibilities include becoming an expert in partner strategies to identify opportunities for the Tempus platform, negotiating and managing contracts, and aligning cross-functional teams to deliver value to clients. The role also involves partnering with clients to develop case studies, providing feedback to leadership on client responses, tracking progress against strategic objectives, and traveling approximately 30% of working time.
